So most of us recently had a go at rocking the trend of eighties shoulder pads, and ended up looking like american football players. But it appears that Prada now believe it is the mens turn.
Us girls tried to incorporate them into coats, into shirts and other items of clothing to give us the silhouette of the season. And if you’re anything like me…failed.
On the Prada catwalks however, we saw the men doing it for themselves recently, as the models wore beautifully tailored jackets and suits, with just that little extra bit of shoulder.
But how will this convert onto the high street? I can’t see it going down too smoothly in Weatherspoons, Kingston. Perhaps its one of those trends that stays in remote arty corners of East London, being worn by dainty adam ant-esque boys drinking K ciders.
